About Us

Inwood Developments Ltd. was created in 1999 by Nigel Braden and Edward Stenhouse. Their vision was to develop environmentally sound products from sustainable home-grown timber using modern advances in timber processing and glue technology.

Inwood pioneered green gluing and finger-jointing of small diameter coppice grown wood from local woodlands; and have developed a comprehensive range of engineered timber products for construction and joinery applications.

Based in Sussex, we have a skilled team and have been involved in many high profile projects throughout the country - from small one-off components through to the fabrication and erection of complete building frames.

We have recently installed a state-of-the-art finger-jointing production facility. This, combined with our structurally rated lamination and machining facilities, gives us an unrivalled UK based capability for producing structural frames, laminated beams and our range of cladding from sustainable timber.
