A Glulam beam is made up of multiple layers of finger jointed timber and bonded together using a high strength adhesive to create one structural single piece of timber.

Glulam is used throughout the construction industry to create a buildings framework. Over the years we have seen an increased uptake in the desire for Glulam structures. Glulam can be used in the same way as steel although Glulam is widely regarded as being more pleasing on the eye, so is left exposed by designers and clients to bring that added level of interior design to their projects.

A Glulam beam then can be used in a number of ways. With the most common uses being Portal frame structures, Trusses, Architectural curved frames and one-off bespoke roof structures.

Joinery products are engineered timbers that are used in joinery applications. These products are well suited for doors, windows and staircases due to their uniformed appearance and high performance.
